Hula Hoop Fitness

Hooping has a profound effect on the body, mind and soul.

Hula hooping improves the relationship we have with our body by engaging core strength, increasing stamina, improving balance, awakening libido and pelvic health, boosting self-esteem, building confidence, relieving stress, deepening the body-mind connection, and igniting personal freedom and power. 

Hula hooping is also a low impact fitness activity so it’s ideal for the aging population and sure to help maintain hip mobility.

It's an incredible alternative workout- it can burn over 600 calories and hour- but you won’t notice because you’ll be having a blast. 

All ages and skill levels are welcome.
We supply the hoops, you bring the hips!

Hooping Workshop, Sport & Spirit Wellness Retreat

Candice Sheriff has been exploring and sharing her passion for hooping ever since rediscovering the hoop as an adult 7 years ago.

As a Muskokan hoop-smith, she handcrafts her weighted, collapsible travel hoops, along with many other natural yoga goods all retailed through her company, Mantus Yoga (mantusyoga.com).

Candice’s hope is to spread joy through creating tools to support ones spiritual practice. As society increasingly becomes more distant from nature, her offerings serve to nurture and reconnect us all to the source.
